Pool testing is anonymous and combines the results of everyone within the “pool” into a single test. Students will be tested by Advisory group; each Advisory group will be a “pool.” Tests are self-administered (under observation) using a shallow nasal swab. Results are provided only to EPS within twenty-four hours. If any of the pools test positive, we will immediately notify the parents of anyone within that positive pool. If tests are negative, no further steps will be necessary. If you are not contacted, you can assume your child’s pool result was negative.
If your student has tested positive for COVID in the last 90 days they should not participate in pool testing. Please notify the COVID Task Force for alternative testing.
And as a final reminder, grades 5 and 6 will be attending remote classes from November 30 to December 6.
Please contact COVID Task Force if you have questions or concerns.
