Ya is a Board Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer. She went to UC Berkeley and the University of Idaho where she received her Bachelor’s of Psychology and Master’s of Athletic Training. She’s well versed in the ins and outs of the independent school setting, having previously served as the Head Athletic Trainer at other local independent schools. Ya grew up playing a variety of sports and specialized in soccer early on. She played in college and continues to play competitively on semi-pro and competitive adult teams in Seattle.

Ya approaches healthcare with a comprehensive and holistic approach. She understands that true healthcare extends beyond treating just the physical symptoms and instead addresses the whole person. She has experience working with D1, D2, semi professional, high school, and club athletes. She brings a fun, energetic, and empathetic spirit to her work and is excited to join the EPS community.
