David Kelly-Hedrick joined Eastside Prep to teach seventh and eighth grade English. He comes from a long career in education and community work that includes time developing leadership and service programs at the Seattle YMCA.

David and his wife have three kids. He loves hiking, running, swimming, and just wandering through the city or mountains.

“I am interested in the ways that groups of people young and old–like those at EPS–are creating new and vibrant culture in our world. I look forward to reading and writing and exploring the world of literature with my students.”
