Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Alex is excited to join Eastside Prep for the 22-23 school year! He joins Eastside from Colorado, where he was most recently a Lecturer at the University of Colorado Boulder. He completed his Ph.D. in American foreign relations history at CU Boulder. Before that, he lived in Philadelphia and attended Villanova University for his M.A., and Tucson, where he earned his B.A. at the University of Arizona (Bear Down!) with stops in Florence and Rome.
When not teaching, Alex is an avid boater, hiker, and runner. He plays the guitar and is slowly working on his novel. He’s always on the lookout for new experiences and new places to visit, whether local or far afield! He’s looking forward to getting to know the students, parents, faculty, and staff of Eastside.
