Insight: Supporting the Cause

Volunteering has always been close to my heart. One of the most impactful experiences of my childhood was volunteering to feed the unhoused population in my community with my father and brother. It taught me the importance of compassion, support, and the incredible impact we can make when we come together for a common cause. It also taught me the importance of being an involved member of a community.

This lesson stays with me today, reminding me that our contributions, no matter how big or small, create ripples of change. At Eastside Prep, our Annual Fund efforts are crucial for enriching the educational experience for all our students, providing resources, enhancing programs, and fostering an inclusive environment. It also provides an opportunity for our community members to actively support everything that happens within the walls of our classrooms every day.

That is why I supported the Annual Fund this year, just as I have for the last sixteen years and why I invite you to join me in this important initiative.
