Sarah is thrilled to return to Eastside Prep as both an alumna from the Class of 2020 and as a new faculty member in the Resident Teacher Program. Inspired by her own experiences as an EPS student, Sarah is eager to launch her professional career within the supportive and innovative EPS community. Recently, Sarah completed a full year of student teaching in the Portland Public School District, focusing on 5th-grade education with a concentration in special education and social-emotional learning. Through her classroom experiences, she found a passion for working with students as they learn how to learn. Sarah is looking forward to honing this craft in the Resident Teacher Program. Outside of school, Sarah enjoys spending time with her two horses, Kaboom and Vaden, and helping manage her family’s equestrian center in Snohomish, Washington.
