Gaylynn Lynch
Math
BS Mechanical Engineering, Boston University; MIT University of Washington
Gaylynn grew up in a very small rural community in West Tennessee, where there is not a stoplight in the entire county and “cotton is king.” After getting her undergraduate degree from Boston University in Mechanical Engineering, she moved to Seattle and has lived in the Puget Sound area ever since. Gaylynn worked in the IT industry for ten years as an analyst/consultant and recruiter before getting her Master in Teaching from the University of Washington. She had always been drawn to education and working with young people and had a particular passion for encouraging under-represented groups to pursue STEM fields. Gaylynn just finished her sixteenth year in the classroom.
