Sophia Maymudes (’16)

After Carleton College closed in March, instead of heading west Sophia and friends headed east to Cape Cod.  They quarantined in Wellfleet, MA, a beautiful spot if one needs to hide out for a while!  Sophia finished her classes remotely and graduated with a degree in computer science. She writes it is “a field I never expected to go into before college.”  In the fall Sophia will return to Washington to start a new job as an Engineering Resident at Google.  Over the summer she remained in Massachusetts relaxing, writing new crosswords, and helping Nat (EPS ’20) settle in at Emerson College.
