Think Critically…

The Eastside Preparatory School mission statement is composed of four points conveyed in eight words—Think Critically, Act Responsibly, Lead Compassionately, Innovate Wisely—all aiming toward the EPS vision: Inspire students to create a better world.   Critical thinking anchors the additional three mission points.  It is present in every EPS classroom through the sharing of ideas, collaboration on projects, student-moderated discussions, and digging deep into concepts and texts.  All while respecting and honoring the viewpoints of others.  The purpose of thinking critically is to be able to embrace complexity.
