Maddie first began her career as a civil engineer in Port Angeles before deciding to leave Washington for Minnesota to take her love of mathematics in a different direction. She began working with students of all ages at the Mathnasium Learning Center in St. Paul, striving to dispel the “I can’t do math” myth. Maddie began teaching at Eastside Prep at the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year. She was excited for the opportunity to return to the Pacific Northwest and join the EPS community where she hopes to be able to incorporate her engineering background into the classroom. When not at school, Maddie enjoys exploring the outdoors, rock climbing, and spending time with her ornery cat.
