Sibling Admissions Applications

Eastside Prep values our enrolled students and their families as members of our school community. As EPS has grown over the past nineteen years, enrolled families’ desire to have multiple children at the school has been important not only to our enrollment, but to our culture. Through reviewing siblings’ applications in the full context of their applicant peers, we are confident that we will make the most informed, mission-centered decisions possible. While EPS does not communicate early admissions decisions for siblings, sibling applicants will naturally continue to have the advantage in their admissions process of being families who are known to our community. For families applying for a sibling child in the future, we look forward to engaging the admissions process with you!

Admissions Testing

Financial Aid

We make every effort to continue supporting families with financial aid once it has been awarded. Current EPS families do need to reapply for financial aid each year so we have information on the current financial picture. Re-enrollment contracts and financial aid awards go live on School Forms Online in mid-January. An email will go out to families indicating when those are available. To secure your seat for next year, please sign and submit the online contract and submit the deposit by the due date. The timing of these contracts is important for the school to better understand available spaces at each grade level as we go into admissions committee meetings for new applicants. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the Admissions Office.

Re-enrollment Timeline

December 9, 2024– Financial aid applications for re-enrolling families are due
January 17, 2025– Re-enrollment contracts and preliminary financial aid awards will go out to families electronically
February 7, 2025– Contracts and deposits are due back to EPS

We are excited about our new partnership with Clarity this year for processing aid applications. Through Clarity, we are able to offer families multiple application options, like a mobile app or desktop, and a streamlined application process! (Application login and processing information coming soon!)

Can we still complete our admissions process in the earliest timeframe possible?

Yes! The Ravenna application will open on September 1, 2024 and families can register for parent interviews and student visit days as soon as they are offered (mid-fall). Please note that applications will not be due until January 16, 2025. This deadline will allow us the opportunity to hear from teacher recommenders after they have spent four to five months with your student in their classroom, and for us to review at least one full term of the current year transcript. We are confident that reviewing siblings’ applications with these additional months of experience will provide us with a fuller picture of their school success. Finally, we will review applications and communicate decisions in February 21, 2025 (Upper School) and March 21, 2025 (Middle School).

Will I need to re-enroll my child before the February deadline even though I will not know about our sibling applicant’s decision until March?

If our sibling applicant is not admitted to EPS, do we need to maintain our enrolled child’s enrollment for the upcoming school year?
