Lisa joined the Eastside Prep community in the Fall of 2015 after a move from the Chicagoland area. Since then she has worn a number of different hats including, but not limited to Assistant to the now disbanded Student Life department, 6th Grade Advisor, 7th Grade Advisor and 8th Grade Advisor, Field Trip Guru, Assistant to the Dean of Students, Assistant to the Fine and Performing Arts Department, and the unofficial Queen of Clubs. During her time at EPS Lisa has continued to foster her love for the arts, and encourages social emotional growth both inside and outside of the classroom. Most notibly she helped create the first ever Arts Symposium which gathered theatre, music, visual arts, and dance teachers from private schools in the area and hosted the first summit at Eastside Prep. She is constantly learning and evolving with the school and loves it for its unique flexibility. Frequently Lisa attends compassionate leadership workshops and is always looking for the best way to connect with others. As an Arts Advocate it wasn’t long before she was Stage Managing Man of La Mancha, promoting Middle School Shows, and Producing all Fine and Performing Arts Events. Nurturing the arts within the students rekindled her own love for theatre and teaching. She is excited to join the school this year by going back to her roots of Theatre Education as the MS Drama Teacher. Lisa looks forward to continuing to develop the Production Coordinator position and persue her M.F.A in Theatre Pedegogy from the University of Idaho.
